Uh Oh....

The last visit up to the cabin came with an unfortunate surprise:  the cabin had been broken into in our absence.  The rear lower level door had been forced in by the use of a log to bash in the lock assembly.
The missing items included a chainsaw, and an old (and el cheapo) TV and DVD player.  Really?  The thieves forgot to take the remotes, too. They also took off with the small push lawnmower, and tried to hotwire the larger brush mower.  Give us a break.  Seriously?

 The wood pieces and some (just some) of the insects that we had to clean up because the door
was wide open for who-knows-how-long....
knock on wood...no signs of vermin...just insects.

The ladybugs were everywhere, copious amounts.  Hey wide open door, warm house,  what more could 

hundreds of thousands of ladybugs want!?!

We needed a shovel but a dustpan will do....
